athenahealth was taken private by Bain Capital and Hellman & Friedman in a $17 billion deal announced in February 2022.

Greenway pitches Novare, introduced in March 2026, as a clean break from its older systems. The evidence points the other way: Novare looks like Intergy under a new name. Greenway's own Intergy product page describes Novare as "the next evolution" of Intergy, and a billing company that works with Intergy customers reports that fee schedules and claim history come across intact, a sign the underlying data model hasn't changed. Practices on Intergy and Prime Suite tell us Greenway has signaled they'll have to switch eventually, though Greenway has yet to post a release date, Novare pricing, or a schedule for moving existing customers.

Develo has run on one modern web platform since day one, shipping minor releases weekly and major releases every two weeks, so there's never a new version to migrate to.
