Develo's pediatric operating system is set up to deliver on practice management, clinical, billing, and family engagement workflows for outpatient pediatric clinics, consolidating functionality that traditional EMRs spread across multiple software bolt-ons. Patients and their caregivers receive automated text messages regarding their upcoming visits. Families can also be prompted to digitally complete practice forms and screenings ahead of their visit, with results flowing directly into the Develo operating system, ready for the practice to review. Texts also go out for outstanding balances and new family messages.

Faxes are received and sent electronically directly within Develo, seamlessly integrating with task management workflows such as clinical result review and electronic completion and send-out of documents. E-fax is tightly linked with Develo doc intel, a component of Develo's AI suite that auto-tags e-faxes and uploaded files for single-click filing into patient charts.

Develo supports sending prescriptions electronically through an integrated e-prescribing experience. Prescriptions are sent directly to the patient's pharmacy of choice without the need to print out a script or use a prescription pad. Prescribers can select from a complete library of medications, including controlled substances, and specify the appropriate dose for the patient. Prescribers can set favorite medications, utilize weight-based dosing, and manage pharmacy favorites across their patient panel.

Develo brings in cutting-edge growth chart and immunization record capabilities that are paired with pediatrics-specific documentation of a patient's medical history. The Develo operating system also features extensive templates covering well child visits as well as common sick visit chief complaints, all paired with a suite of clinical AI capabilities that streamline visit and chart review workflows: provider scribe for pediatricians, intake scribe for nurses and medical assistants, and Ask Develo for any question about a patient's chart.

Develo automates charge capture at the point of care. Orders carry billing and diagnosis defaults, and configurable rules set codes, units, and modifiers by visit type, so the vaccine administered, the screen completed, and the counseling delivered all reach the claim without a separate billing pass afterward. Providers get E&M coding guidance and alerts when a visit is missing activity that normally bills alongside a well child or sick visit. The result is fewer missed charges and fewer corrections after the fact, in exactly the workflows where pediatric practices most often under-bill.

Develo owns the transition end to end. Configuration, training, and data migration run through one dedicated customer success manager, with go-live support bundled into your subscription rather than billed as a separate implementation project. That same customer success manager stays with your practice afterward, reachable through a shared support channel, email, or live video, alongside an onshore team based in the US and Canada, an on-call engineer, and clear SLAs by issue severity.
