Pricing and Rates
I realize that there is sometimes a fear of the unknown when it comes to contracted programming. You may worry about "hourly" rates in terms of what can be expected from a contractor and in terms of time/performance.
Develo's pricing model takes the fear out of contracted pricing. Develo will provide a free quote for the entire job to be done at a fixed cost. We will work with you before any work starts to set mutual expectations and to establish an exact plan of work.
After the contracted work is complete, we will go over everything together to ensure that it both meets your satisfaction and that the plan of work is complete. Subsequent maintenance or changes to work that is written by myself is provided at a 50% discount for life.
Billing
We ask for a good-faith deposit of 25% up-front and the balance is due upon completion.
Minimum Charges
Develo charges a $100 USD minimum for all new contracts. This includes the time it takes to setup, coordinate access and other matters. This charge is not on-top-of your bill, but rather a minimum bill amount for all new projects.
Working Hours and In-person Meetings
I prefer to work via email, but if in-person meetings are necessary, I can often accomodate. Phone meetings are preferable to in-person meetings. My time schedule is very limited, so please contact me well in advance to arrange a time to meet. If in-person meetings are necessary, a set amount of these should be arranged during the initial quote.
Discount for Non-Profit Groups
If you are a federally registered 501(c)(3) organization, Develo offers a 30% discount on your entire quote/bill. Minimum amounts also apply, which amount to $70 for non-profits corporations.
